What We Do

Research

“BIONESIA believes that strong and ethical research is the main foundation to protect Indonesian biodiversity for future generations” Research Program is a strategic initiative by BIONESIA to strengthen scientific understanding of Indonesian biodiversity. The program focuses on conservation based on research, molecular genetics, ecology, and socio-culture to obtain scientific data and scientific studies that can be used to determine environmental conservation policies and actions. Through collaboration with universities, research institutions, local communities, and government institutions, BIONESIA supports academic and applied research.

Capacity Building

“Capacity building for Sustainable Biodiversity Conservation” Capacity Building Programs is a strategic initiative to improve the capacity of individuals, communities, and local institutions to understand, protect, and manage Indonesian biodiversity with sustainability. This program is designed as a forum for knowledge development, technical skills, and strengthening networks among stakeholders involved in conservation and molecular genetics.

Conservation

“Preserving Indonesian Biodiversity through Science-Based Action” Yayasan Biodiversitas Indonesia (BIONESIA) runs conservation programmes that focus on the protection and sustainable management of Indonesian biodiversity. These program integrate scientific research, local community empowerment, and technological approaches such as molecular genetics and habitat monitoring to create effective and sustainable conservation solutions.
